Schalke are back on the road after the international break to take on Greuther Fürth

A spectacular goal and great skill from Karaman.
FÜRTH 0 - SCHALKE 1
Right from the kickoff Fürth bring the ball into the Schalke end and with two passes Massimo is able to get his head on a great cross into the box and Fürth equalizer in a matter of seconds.

In the 25th minute a controversial moment happens.
Fürth player Asta is in the box, Seguin comes at the player to win the ball, as Asta puts a foot on the ball to move it backwards with his foot, Seguin approaches but with the move to bring the ball backwards by Asta with his left foot he falls down, the referee will awarded a penalty on what he believes is contact.
Now the play is not reviewed by VAR, and with the replay that we on TV are seeing it is clear that Seguin never touches the player and he just falls down to sell the closeness of Seguin to him.
On the penalty kick Karius will save the shot, then with the rebound be able to make the save on that shot as well, (that is Karius fouth double save event, he has had to preform, he has had this in every match so far) but as Karius tries to gather the ball from the shot off that rebound he can not hold it tight enough and Consbruch comes in and kicks the ball and it squeezes between Karius the post and behind the goal line for the goal.
VAR will take a look and awarded the goal to Fürth.
Still no VAR check on the penalty that lead to all this action.
FÛRTH 2 - SCHALKE 1
Schalke took the early lead and since then the match has been out of their control and it has been all Fürth.
In added time to the first half, Karius tries to make a save and in that he looks to have a injury to his right leg, he is on the ground with heavy bandage put onto his right ankle as Heekeren gets ready to come in to this match.

With the changes it is still Fürth that are having counter attacks with yet another one in the 67th minute, but yet again the Fürth attempt at goal by Klaus is wide of the target and his shot goes over the bar from 18 yards out.
Schalke makes another offense sub and bring in Amin Younes for Antwi-Adjei.

Klaus in the last 10 minutes has had three great chances and has shot wide on all of them.
In the 79th minute it is Klaus again with another counter- attack and this time he dishes the ball off and crosses into the box, but his cross to Srbeny is intercepted by Murkin who clears away the danger.
Schalke with a new look in the attacking line builds up a play and in the 84th minute, fresh legged Younes holds the ball and carries it to the right corner of the penalty area and unleashes a fabulous shot that perfectly curls into the far corner.
FÜRTH 3 - SCHALKE 2
Schalke look alive again and you can feel have a sense that they can equalize, as in the 87th minute it is Younes again with a shot towards goal, which is blocked and the rebound gets to Sylla but it is called for offside, but you can feel Schalke are building towards a push for another goal

At the 90th minute it is Schake again pushing hard for a goal and Murkin's freekick is caught by the keeper as Sylla comes rushing in.

As Schalke celebrations go crazy in the 96th minute and Sylla pulls off his shirt to celebrate the equalizer he looks up to see the offside flag, but thanks to the much used VAR in this match it is shown that the defenders arm keeps Sylla onside and the referee announces it is a good goal and the crazy celebration continues.
