I can exclusively confirm that Virgil Van Dijk is closing in on a contract extension at Liverpool. I understand Van Dijk is set to sign a new 2 year deal which will extend his stay in Merseyside

Last night reports on social media claimed that Van Dijk had given the green light to a move to Saudi this summer. However I can confirm that these reports are false and Van Dijk is not interested in a move.
